I have an ipod nano, 5th gen, and none of the face buttons work on it. well they do, but only at certain times, and in certain spots. help?

My friend had the same problem. She had to send it to Apple, and the had to replace the buttons. After 3months it did it again. After that she switched to the iPod Classic.

It actually might still be in waranty. Should I go the Apple shop, or go online and do it?

If you have an Apple store near you, that'd be your best bet. Right then and there they'll be able to tell you everything you need to know.
