Sore nipples?

I went to the beach yesterday and i didnt want to get burnt so i threw on my tshirt and was swimming most of the day. At the time my nipples were kind of sore and hurting almost. And then today, my nipples are really red and really sore.

Can anyone tell me what this is?

Could have just been the cold of the sea, or the pool, it can make your nipples go hard, and it might be a little sore for a few days, or you could of had a reaction.

That happens to me when I use shirt + sea... I think its because all the salt and sand there is in the water enters your shirt, can't get out of there, and starts rubbing your body... since the nipple is a really sensitive part of your body, it get irritated...

I think this is right, because my mates dad said the same thing. It has gone away now... =) Thanks everyone.

Dont worry you dont have an reaction the same thing happend to me when i went to the beach i think its just the salt water plus your nipples which make them hard.

it was the same w/ me when i went 2 europe. ( :D ) i was wondering the same thing, but these responses are a bit vague...
