If it's rare then why does it keep showing up???
What does this mean?

I am guessing you are using IE? If so, that might be the issue. A lot of times shit like this happens with IE and this forum for some reason because I haven't seen that error since I last used IE.

I wonder how you knew.
But it's not too bad, just a refresh and it's back.

Same here. Just refresh and the problems fixed. Just a little hindrance that is all.

Go to tools, then internet options, the browsing history section and click delete, it'll take you to a menu, tick all the boxes and click clear/delete. Then see if its stopped the problem. If not change your browser.

I'd just like to give a little explanation about this error.
This is the most general client-side error, which means something went wrong on your end. All HTTP 400 errors are client-side. Conversely, all HTTP 500 errors are server-side (which means the website is to blame).
You might be thinking, "If it's the 'most general' client-side error, why does VT say it's a rare error?" The thing is, this error is very uncommon because normally a web browser will be able to pinpoint and diagnose the problem (e.g. "HTTP 404 File Not Found" or "HTTP 500 Internal Server Error") but with the case of HTTP 400, the web browser knows that it's not the server's fault, but it doesn't know what it did wrong.
So it's kinda rare, and it's kinda confusing. And let's face it, it really doesn't help much. But it does let us know that something is wrong with our computer or our internet connection. The best thing to do in a situation like this is to update your computer, by which I mean update all of the software that you use, including Windows. Sometimes this will resolve the issue. If not, try a different web browser, but please make sure it's up-to-date. To get the latest browsers and other stuff for Windows, check out www.filehippo.com (http://www.filehippo.com) and look in the left-hand column.
Good luck :]

then i'm afraid you'll have to switch browsers. i reccommend firefox (http://www.mozilla-europe.org/en/), it's free. or you could use chrome, a favourite around here. i've never used chrome, though.

Try using a different browser and see if you get the same result.

Just try downloading Chrome or Firefox, and then try it using that.

You can download Google Chrome, Firefox, whichever you pick, and then try it on that.

that depends....you might not be familiar with Firefox or Chrome, but it isn't really hard to use either of them.
