Mom engaged? Confused!

Ok, so Im on my laptop and on facebook....my mom is on the desktop also on facebook. But I refreshed my news feed and had some stuff that my mom changed on her profile....where she works and where she went to school, no big deal. But I kept scrolling down and she changed her relationship status to engaged :eek: But the last I knew they were breaking up because he was CHEATING on her. She goes and sees him once a week and dumps alot of money down the drain because of it. He is trying to do everything in his power to keep her around. Right now, Im confused and kinda scared. I DO NOT like this guy and he has caused problems in our family before. I dont know what to do!

Perhaps your mother is doing what a lot of teens do, which is changing their status to engaged when they're just dating for a while. Or maybe you should have a talk with your mother to clear this whole thing up. Oh, and if you think he's not the right guy for her, you should say something, I mean, he can be your next stepdad.

Talk to her about it. If he doesn't seem right then tell her. She'll try to understand you

Talk to her and tell her that you don't think that the guy is right for her and you wouldn't feel comfortable with him as your stepdad. As a mother, her first priority should be her childrens' needs. :)
