Well I decided to create this just wondering what everyone's opinions were.
First do you believe it was right to drive the native americans out of their land back in the day? (Trail of Tears, etc.)
And second, which side would you side with during the Civil War, and why?

Was there a genocide of the native americans? I don't know. Would it surprise me if there was one(or a couple)? Not really? When one has strength, they will try to subdue others, and get rid of competition. In the case of the Europeans at the time, the Europeans saw the native Americans as uneducated savages that were inferior to them and were begging to get conquered. Which is pretty ironic because the native Americans helped the first colonists to survive the wilderness. They could've easily killed them if they wanted to. The Indian removal act of 1830 and the period after it was a harsh time for the native Americans and I wouldn't necessarily call it a proud moment in American history.
tl;dr no I do not. But i feel like it was inevitable.

North because of many reasons. Most obviously they wanted to preserve the Union and correcting a HUGE human right violation.

The South. The confederacy were never racist or evil like these stupid ass history books say. The north weren't nice people either.
