I don't care if there mother got ran over by a tractor and one of the band members got AIDS and died, the music still sucks and it's cheesy as hell. I'm not going to like or listen to anything that's so bland and a gigantic tool ruining music. Linkin Park is whiney as fuck and the lyrics are plain dumb. It's like 7th graders writing poetry. That's all they are.

NIN has so much more depressing songs than Hurt. Songs like "I'm Looking Forward to Joining You, Finally" and "The Day The World Went Away" are about his Grandmother's death. "Lights In The Sky" and "All That Could Of Been" are pretty depressing also.
