check out <www.addforums.com> for better info on this. Straterra is something that has many side effects that show up very sporadically for many people because of its non-stimulant nature. I've heard of dry mouth before, but generally this is more common with ADHD stimulant meds (ritalin, adderall, etc.). I think it takes something like a month for your body to adjust to Straterra, so keep going and hopefully you'll see positive results. In the meantime, drink water as much as possible!
EDIT: I seemed to miss the other symptoms you describe about paranoia and suicide. These kinds of things show up with a lot of psychological medications, but if it persists you should DEFINITELY see a doctor. That does not mean stop taking the medication immediately - this could cause even worse complications due to withdrawl (though I don't know much about withdrawl on Straterra).
Good luck.

I was on 80mg of straterra quite a few years ago, and I not only felt like a dog, but every little thing was irritating. It's like quitting smoking which I recently did. Migraines were almost a daily thing.
This is one pill you DO NOT want to stop on cold turkey. This is a psychiatric medication where it's supposed to "Balance you out" but if you stop it right away it could completely throw the chemical imbalance that is "in repair" out of whack which is very dangerous. If you do not like being on the pill go to the doctor and they may "ween" you off of it.
In my personal opinion. I strongly disagree with the use of ADHD medication because I was told to have it, but I think now if I look back, I just didn't feel like paying attention to anything because I didn't give a shit. I was in my own world. When you start to feel anything abnormal get in contact with your doctor right away.
