Have you ever had to break up with someone? Why?
My boyfriend and I have been dating for awhile, but lately I've been having some doubts.
The main problem is we're just not very good at talking to each other. When we're alone together or texting, we just can't think of anything to talk about. He'll often text me "what do you want to talk about?" if there's a lull in the conversation, but if I ask him the same question he always says "i don't know." It seems like we wasted all our talking points in the first month.
In four months I'll be a freshmen at a college and he'll still be a junior in high school. My college is ten hours away so I'll probably only be able to come back for holidays.
So far the longest I've been away from him is a week when I went away for spring break and it wasn't easy. We texted the entire time, but that's when I started to wonder whether there was any real connection beyond physical. Ever since I got back the doubts have been creeping around the back of my mind. I don't know if it's because I just can't see us together anymore or if I'm doing this because I'm going away to college. I've been telling myself to take it one day at a time, but I can't seem to stop thinking about it.
