That must be a hard situation your in. All I can really say is be honest with him and say you would really like to help but you can't really give any good advice. Maybe tell him to hang out more with your mates opposite sex? But usually gays always stay gay, they can't really change, I wish I could be more helpful to you.
If you wanna talk message me, anywhen x

just be there for him and make him feel comfortable talking to you.

ask him why. try to be comforting. coming out is really hard to do, and you should try your best to be there for him.

Hey your in a hard situation but you need to support him in what ever direction he want to go. If he wants to be straigh try to hook him up.... if he wants to be gay then support him as a freind.
Im BI and its the hardest thing in the world to go thru, my close freinds know, and and lot of other people too suspect... and it hard... just be there for him and try to support him as much as you can.

Ask him why he wishs he was straight
i'm gay so i think i know why just ask him and remind him your his friend no matter who he loves and that to you his sexuality is just like is skin color or his family he cant change it.

Well, as his friend, you have to support him in what ever he decides.

Have him listen to Born this Way until he can sing it backwards. Nobody should EVER have to feel that they're not good enough, or not normal. Right now he needs a friend to remind him that he's beautiful, and that he should love himself and be proud of who he is. 'cause baby, he was born this way <3

Give him support. You don't have to say much, just that you accept him with whatever decision he makes. Tell him gay or straight that you'll be there for him.
Think about what you'd want somebody to tell you if you were in this situation. Good luck. ;)

i think u should just keep saying positive things to him, cause if he's gay then wanting to be straight is only gonna hurt him emotionally so just try to make him feel as good as possible about being gay, make it clear that u think it's great that he came out to you and that u approve of his being gay, just try to make him feel comfortable with his sexuality. hope this helps!

Indeed!! Lady GaGa helped me come out to my best friend and now boyfriend. We sing it all the time and just laugh at how we were both scared to come out.
Anyway, tell him that being gay isn't his choice, he was born that way. He can do all he wants to cover it up but as soon as he shows his true colors then he'll be free.

Yeah Born this Way. Amazing song, ask him why he feels that way, I could have a good guess on why he feels that way. Just comfort him the most you can
