Getting to know someone from scratch

Okay so, this is a completely long shot and probably won't come to anything but... there's an insanely cute and adorable young man who works at the pet shop I go to pretty often. (Oh god if he's on here this'll be awkward :P)

I've "met" him twice; I was going round handing out my CV to various shops and he was the person I handed it in to, he explained it was only his second day there and was very friendly about it all.

Then today, I was there and he served me and he was incredibly friendly and asdfghjkl adorable again.

My question is how on earth can I possibly even start to get to know him? :') I know it's almost impossible that anything could come from it at all, but I'm willing to give it a try >;D Good grief this is completely out of character for me to find myself infatuated by someone I've met twice...

Its called love or "lust" at first site :) Being that your a girl you already have the upper hand! Just walk up to him and ask if he wants to hang out with you and maybe a couple friends when hes not working and give him your number. I add the with some friends part so it makes it a little less of a "come on"and more of a "I would like to get to know you" type thing. Then you can proceed from there. Good luck and keep us posted.

Oh god actually going up and actively asking if he wants to hang out?! :eek: Yeah, I thought something like that would have to be done... :') I might have to psych myself up for this. If I'm with friends I might feel more confident to do so ahah xD

i agree with bimmerhead. and you dont hav to just randomly walk up to him and ask him you could just ask him next time he serves you.

Even if it is lust or a crush. Ask him how he is, whats his name, how old he is, where is he from and the general questions. Dont seem like you are trying to pry.

But the few more times you get to know him, ask him more about things.

Maybe you can ask for his number and text him asking if you could hang out for a bit.
