What You Do To Me (Poem)

[Roses_Are_Yellow]

The beat of my heart quickens
the minute you walk by me
I feel my face turn red
I hide so you can't see

When you talk to me
I feel a smile form
Accross my rosemerry lips
I then feel warm

When we make eye contact
I quickly turn away
Not wanting you to know
at least not today

When you smile
I want to sing
You lighten up the day
that feeling stays; lingering

When your down
I can't help but feel blue
I want to fix it
I want to fix it for you

These feelings I should'nt feel
for they are wrong
because I can clearly see
Your with who you belong

Its weird
for you are my friend
I deny what I feel
I lie and pretend

When I'm with you
I blurt out facts
Sometimes so embarrasing
I want to hide behind potatoes sacks

I can't help it
you do this to me
But I should stay away
And let life be

I love the poem, great work, but I have a question. What do you mean by "rosemary lips?" Are her lips green, or do they smell like rosemary? lol
