ok so the past year i have been so conscious about my weight and body. when i get hungry i eat and i always feel horrible and feel like i need to burn every calorie that i just ate off even though i don't over eat. i am a runner and like being in shape so its not like i eat and then don't do anything but still. i know im not fat im 5'7 1/2 and 121 pounds but i still feel like it. im not anorexic but if anybody else has these same feeling i would really appreciate u helping me :yes: when i start feeling awful i start feeling sad and down i really want someone to talk to about this who has felt the same way before

ive never been in that situation but i think that you can overcome the urge.
but its GOOD that you eat then burn it off. your staying healthy.
just dont push yourself too hard

I feel the same way sometimes and just think well anyways I need to to be a better athlete and it takes time but get to understand that concept. Im here if you need any help

Do you ever starve yourself?

Over excercising can be seen as a form of purging, related to bulimia. But bulimia also usually contains bingeing. It sounds to me as thought you do have disordered eating, although it is not a clean cut eating disorder, you should take a look at the sticky for EDNOS. You may have that.

It's good if you exercise to burn your food off, you are staying healthy. Just don't do it much.
I haven't been in your situation, but if you feel horrible for eating, eat healthy foods like fruit and veg. You shouldn't feel horrible though because you have got to eat to survive.
