What to pair with light-colored jeans?

I have jeans like the one in the picture. They fit great on me but i don't know what to pair them with. Any suggestions?

id go for a grey t-shirt, and top that with a light blue plaid shirt, unbuttoned.

Well if it were me, I'd wear maybe a black or dark blue western-cut button up shirt with pearl type snap buttons (either tucked in or untucked), and a white t-shirt underneath, with a black belt and nice buckle, and some black or black cherry cowboy boots. But that's me, if you don't wanna wear that, maybe just a dark colored t-shirt like black, blue, or red, and some nice tennis shoes, or some white K-Swiss shoes.

I think dark shirts look better with light colored jeans like those.

Plaid looks rather preppy, imo. I'd go for a tight fit gray tee-shirt or singlet. White is also a classic look, possibly with a nice leather jacket. Make sure to rock some darker coloured dress shoes with them, though tan ugg boots might also be appropriate.
