Appearantly a few days ago, there was a shooting just right accross the street from my school. What makes that even more unsafe, is that during that same time, all the older grades were on the black top..which is the closest to where the shooting was. No body knew it was happening, and the only reason I know there was a shooting is because my principle sent out an email today about the shooting.

...anyone else have s dtory about there school?...

We've had so many bomb threats, it's outrageous. At least once a year, but that has slowed down. When I was in elementary school, there were years where there was 6 or 7.

We had a fire a few years ago, on our stage...As we were getting on the stage, and someone noticed it.

The elementary school had a fire a couple months ago, in the kitchen.

Well, my old school used to get the common bomb threats. There was a gun found in a students locker once. Other than that, not really

Our school is like 10 meters away from İstiklal Avenue, the longest street in Turkey and the place where most of the youth groups demonstrate against the government, etc.

Suddenly me and my 11 friends found us in the middle of a fight, my friend was banged by a riot shield but the police was able to pull us out of the fight and we were able to run away

It was an exciting experience for me lol, I was finally able to hit that pro-government over religious fucktard officers!

Fairly safe area here occasional drug dogs and a student or 2 gets busted... Full time campus police seem to do a good job of keeping the peace

A few kids have brought knives to school. There's been drug incidents. Nothing like bomb threats or shootings that I can recall though.

Well we have the usual drug stuff, but you never hear about it unless your associated with those people.

We were put on a lockdown once because the police were in a foot pursuit of a guy near our school. But that's about it, except for the occasional someone pulls the fire alarm.

our school population never passes 400 so its very close and everyone knows everyone. but we are in portables right up a hill from the park. alot of drugs are being used by other students and sex in the park. but we share the campus with a community college so its easy for most kids to go away and hide

There was a bomb threat last year and an armed robbery across the street from the school.

I live in a very nice part of Phoenix, AZ, but we did have a man threatening to shoot our P.E. students while they were running at the park a little ways from the school. Everyone was put on lockdown and we spent an hour or so extra in our classrooms waiting for the clear.

At my old elementary school there was a dude shooting cops outside

In one of my middle schools a person who just robbed a bank was on our campus

(this one doesn't count) but at my other jr. High there was a gas leak and we had to evacuate the school in a BLIZZARD to a church. That was fun...

This las school year someone on facebook made a page saying they were going to go to my school and shoot at people. We were on lockdown for 3 hours and there were cops and dogs all over my school.

Another time someone made a bomb threat to the 3 high schools in my town.

The only thing that ever came close to that was at my old elementary school, where a suspicious character showed up out of no where. The school was immediately put on lock down.

All we get are the odd false fire alarm. School evacuated for ten mins, fire brigade turn up, then leave, then it's back to double geography :P
Nothing happens here!

Mostly fights, drug busts, and the occasional bomb threat. The only thing major was that we had a quadruple homicide a few months back, but that was a few miles away and closer to other high schools.

A few people from outside the school got in and started a huge fight during an assembly. The school was on lock down for quite some time. A teacher was repeatedly kicked in the head and suffered concussions. In the weeks after the riot, we had to be search upon entrance in the school.
