My Brother (sort of)

So I have a big brother. A half brother. A 38 year old half brother.We didn't grow up together (obviously) but I love him more than he knows :( I really wish we we're closer. How could I make this happen? He's a very busy person, what with a pregnant wife and his first son, but maybe he has some time for his littlest sister? Its not that he doesn't love me (After my mom told him that if she died I would go to my aunt he yelled "she's MY sister! She'll be living with me!" :D) I just want us to be close, like other siblings. Sometimes I feel he's more of a family friend than a brother. :(

It's a bit difficult because it looks like he has a busy schedule, you should talk to your mom and ask her to ask him to come to dinner more often or something like that. Also, try to arrange other plans, like going to a concert, out for a drink in a bar, things like that. Oh, and make the most of your time together, that's the most important! :)

Yeah, I've asked my mom but I don't think she really understood how much it would mean to me. and it seems like everytime we're over at his house he just wants to talk to my dad about men stuff :/ they're even going fishing tomorrow morning! Its not fair. I'm going to bring it up again to my mom though :)

Why don't you go fishing with them next time? Also, talk about your feelings to your brother, maybe he'll understand you and try to talk to you more.

You could go to the park, to the beach, just walk around or something. If you think you won't have much to talk about go to the movies, to an amusement park, something like that that allows you to have fun together.
But if you want to talk to him I strongly advise the first one. :)
