Donald Trump has been pressing Obama to release his birth certificate to the American public and he still has not. Most other potential candidates for 2012 have dropped the subject, but Donald Trump. Do you think that he should drop it as well, or does he have a good point.

Trump says Obama is not a good president. Obama could be impeached if he is proven a citizen other than the U.S. Could this be why Trump is pushing it?

Also, do you believe that Obama should be impeached? I do not. Even though he is not fulfilling his job as well as the president should, no body in congress will take that step because it would hurt the American people and it's not like the Vice President could do any better.

I beg to differ. Him doing this is sending him higher in the polls and making him more popular with the republican party who most of witch beleve the president was not born in America. I for one am looking forward to trump being nominated because I think it will be fun to see him get beat down by Obama.



Also, on the topic oh how Obama is doing. Obama is doing a great job considering what mess he was left to clean up. He got elected and when he took office and had to deal with a mess, people starred saying "how dare you have this mess to clean up" when he obviously did not start the two wars that turned clintions $33 billion cerplus into a $14 trillion debt.
Yes, I don't agree with all of the things he has done, he could have fought a lot harder on health care reform, and yes I don't like the bank bail outs, but considering what we came from he is doing a hell of a job so far.

First, I'd like to say that Donald Trump is a fucking asshole. I have never liked him, and I think that the fact that anyone would even want him to be president is absurd. If he does get nominated, then I want Morgan Freeman to get nominated as well.

Second, I think Trump is wrong. Our country has some pretty stupid people running the show, obviously, but does anyone think we would elect someone as our president when we don't even know if they are a citizen? You can't even get welfare, or even a passport without a birth certificate.

I honestly don't care if he is a citizen, or a muslim, or black, or wore mom jeans. I care if he is doing his job, and doing it right. That's all that matters. And, that's all that should matter. ....but anyway, my response to the op is that i think Donald Trump needs to drop it. While I do tend to lean more toward the Republican side, I cant vote for someone who bases their whole campaign on trying to prove if Obama is a legal citizen or not. I think it might be good that he put a little fuel in the fire, but now he needs to stop and leave it up to everyone else to question it. Personally, I dont really know what to believe, because Ive read and heard alot of things on both sides, but like I said, leave it to others to pursue it.

Donald Trump is pushing the issue to gain Republican support. President Obama is a US citizen, and you would be ignorant to think our entire government would be incapable of keeping records of political leaders. They've obviously examined the documents carefully to ensure he's a legal citizen, and Obama refuses to reveal them because he doesn't have the time to worry about outrageous conspiracies.

I think Trump knows that Obama is a legal citizen, but just puts on a show to rally up the Republicans against Obama, along with the undecided voters, to gain support. Either that, or he's just a buffoon.
