is this normal?

Okay, so I've liked my best guy friend for about four years, and now we're together, but I need to know if this is a normal thing, because it never happened with anyone else..
Whenever I see him, or I know I'm going to see him soon, I get a weird feeling in the pit of my stomach, like I'm nervous even though I'm not.
Also, when I look in his eyes, it takes almost everything I have to look away, although that may be because they are such a pretty shade of brown.
But whenever someone says his name I just faze out and get all giggly (which is not like me)
Is this normal? Because this is the first time it has happened..

I feel that it is normal, yeah. I am a guy, so it might not be the answer you were looking for, but I have felt this way before. I have this great girl friend and she has lately become a lot more to me than just a friend, but we aren't dating. When I see her, or I know I am going to see her, I get really nervous. Whenever I talk to her, the rest of the world just seems to melt away. So yeah, I would say this is normal. It happens to me at least, so you at least have someone in the same boat! :)

Obsessive puppy-love is to be expected at your age. There's nothing strange about that, and it isn't (or shouldn't) last forever anyway. You'll get over it.
