Well I just shave my pubes and I LOVE the feeling, :) the look is okay, I guess :| but I started to let it grow back, an when I rubbed where my hair used to be it was all prickly and when I rubbed my fingers against my hair ( so from my penis up to my belly ) it hurt so bad. :( So will it grow back prickly? and will it always hurt

It's going to take a bit to get used to. When you shave make sure you: use a sharp razor, shaving cream, and take your time. This is a spot that is very sensitive and needs to be cared for. I'd suggest that after you shave, you apply some body moisturizer. You may also find some shave gel that helps prevent ingrown hairs and razor burn. You'll develop your own "comfortable" style once you get used to it.

Your hair is going to grow back rough because it's short and thicker: it's just like you shave your face. Any questions, feel free to PM me.

No it wont be like that forever. It will until your hair grows out more.

It hurts for the first couple days or itches so badly, you need to mousturise it.

I double that. moisturize it well.

Well yeah it's going to be pretty rough for a while it all depends on how fast your hair grows. Though I am not sure by how you asked the question if you want to continue to let it grow out or not.

Every time I finish shaving I put aftershave on because it cools it off and it doesn't itch as bad. Plus I usually shave in the shower because it's easier and in the end feels better :P shaving cream is a must because the irritation without the cream is a nightmare.

No it should stay prickly for about a week or two, then go back to normal, thats why i prefer to trim it really low.

I know the feeling. It's normal. It won't be prickly anymore after it grows a little.

I used to shave but no longer. It felt so good, but one of the reasons I stopped is because it hurt growing back, like you said. You just have to go through the pain of letting it grow back and then not do it again :) I still shave some areas that are less painful when they grow back and give it the trim. It isnt as nice and smooth but it aint a massive bush which I hate :)
