Bruise on penis

This week my girlfriend stayed at my house for a couple of nights and we had sex four or five times. She left yesterday but it wasn't until I went to the toilet today that I noticed a relatively large deep purple bruise on the shaft of my penis, near the base. I do have a minor problem with maintaining an erection so often when we had sex it was only semi-erect. Could this be damaging it? Could I have damaged the erectile tissue further? Will it just go away like any other bruise? Any help would be really appreciated :confused:

There are many blood vessels within the erectial tissue and what you probably did was bruise the base of your penis. I feel that with time it will go away like any other bruise. Just give it some time.

to add to that try not to have sex or masturbate until the bruose is cleared up or is well into healing just so you do not hurt yourself anymore
