Set 1: Easter. Today my baby brother, girl friend, and I sat down to dye Easter eggs, we then proceeded to doodle a bit. My girlfriend did the ghetto Z, my baby brother's are obvious, and I did the rest.

What camera are you using Joshua? it's not good enough. The photos are also incredibly boring and abuse of the macro mode.

I don't claim to know anything about photography truly, but I'm using a Nikon DSC-W120 at the moment.

Anywho, any true tips on improving?

You don't really need to know anything about photography - here's all:

Buy a SLR if possible, the image quality and the freedom in expression will be far, far, far greater.

Good photography is all about subject matter: you need to find something interesting and involving for the photo to be worthwhile at all. Unfortunately, none of your pictures match this one criteria and as a result, your images are very dull.
