do you guys think the death or absence for that matter of a parent at a critical stage in a kids life can change their sexuality?

I think it may be relevant in some cases, but it's not something that defines someone's sexuality just for itself.

Well, sexuality is usually a pre-detetmined thing, something that's already in your head on what you gender you prefer, even if you don't know yet. (Coming from most cases I've heard of, it just sorta clicked on in a point in their life). Maybe grief of a parents death/absense can trigger a realization. This is all coming from me :)

I dont really think so.... i guess it possible. But i think that we are more or less who we are when it come to sexuality. ( Meaning that i dont think that is you are rasised by a single mom you are more likely to become gay or bi... i hope that makes since to you.) Just my opinion...btw

absence of parent would be applicable for me, and tbh i dont thnik it has affected my sexuality, maybe my view on things and my personality, but not my sexuality.

I think it is posible, but it depends on the scenario and situation.
