Totality

Maybe not my best work, but here's my new poem.
Learn to Fly
A Dextrous Day, Too Soon to Tell
Live or Die, Fight or Fly?
He took his time, to see the dark.
Through the days, the makers’ mark,
He made his way, through the day
Played and Plundered,
Torn Asunder!
He opened the door,
Stepped through Time,
Steeped in history,
Forever no future,
The Present was here!
He saw his future,
He saw her there,
Gorgeous, Sexy,
So completely in his arms,
He stepped through time,
Through his future,
To be with her there,
To be holding her,
He held her there,
On that Day,
For Today, Was the Day,
He would Learn to fly.
Learn to Fly
A Dextrous Day, Too Soon to Tell
Live or Die, Fight or Fly?
He took his time, to see the dark.
Through the days, the makers’ mark,
He made his way, through the day
Played and Plundered,
Torn Asunder!
He opened the door,
Stepped through Time,
Steeped in history,
Forever no future,
The Present was here!
He saw his future,
He saw her there,
Gorgeous, Sexy,
So completely in his arms,
He stepped through time,
Through his future,
To be with her there,
To be holding her,
He held her there,
On that Day,
For Today, Was the Day,
He would Learn to fly.
