So it's official it's outpatient and family therapy. He wanted me inpatient, and I was like oh hellz no! Well I told him I didn't need it. He was like well it might help, I'm like I know it won't. I'm fine without it thanks, many words latter, outpatient/ family therapy. I told him good luck with my parents on the family therapy! The great might ones needing therapy!! Haha! They don't think so, but they need it, so thank God! I was definately going to threaten him if he said inpatient that I wouldn't eat or drink ever. Also bring my parents into needing therapy. Well, there's something I forgot to mention to you. My mom thinks I'm demonically possessed, and she's very delusional and paraniod, and my father is abusive and pissed off 24/7. So since we are here, you might as well commit us all. I haven't been more scared in my life. I hate not having control. My parents were bitchy, but I survived, without self harming too! :D I wanted to so bad! So, so very happy! :D

wow youre lucky you persuaded your doctor to let you be an outpatient! Also my friend had family therapy and it really helped her relationship with her parents, hope it does the same with you
Welldone with the not self harming thats really impressive! I know its tempting when family members are getting under your skin ¬¬

Happy for you. :) I'm not sure family therapy is gonna work considering your mom thinks your demonically posessed.

-_- I mean, wasn't your sister the one who squeezed fishes to death? lol

Anyways, good luck and I wish you the best. :D

Outpatient alone? Congrats :D I usually have to do both >.< A week of full inpatient depending, and a couple weeks of outpatient. I've refused the outpatient sometimes though... they've also wanted to put me straight from inpatient into the day camp as well. I don't know which is worse.

Anyway, congrats :) All you really have to do is speak up and be confident about it. Some people won't budge, but often if you are confident that the hospital isn't where you want to be, they will see that and settle for other means.

Good job Broken, did they say what their outpatient program was? The one I went to was like a group thing where I'd get there at 9 am and leave at 5 to go home. Good job not self harming either
:yeah:

Unfortunately things changed with me. I'm not longer outpatient/ family therapy. I'm now on day patient once summer starts. >.< My parents spoke to my regular psychologist and said they don't think that's enough, and my psycologist agreed that it wasn't intense enough and I'd need a bit more of a push. My psycologist says she might not even let me come back to school next year now. And thanks guys. :)
