Unadulterated

A short and sweet poem written by your's truly. Constructive criticism and feedback is greatly appreciated.
The waves gently rock our minds
to a sweet (and salty) haze.
Worries, regrets, and time pass
when we spend our days interlocked.
But we could care less about a few numbers that mark our days,
this raw, bare truth shines through them.
In this moment I am more than conscious,
I am alive.
A moment of complete and utter fulfillment.
No one else but you.
I don't expect you to speak,
or to even reassure me you're still blinking.
I can tell by your satisfactory sighs
you're more than alive.
Living in this inaudible moment,
where the only language is in our hearts.
The waves gently rock our minds
to a sweet (and salty) haze.
Worries, regrets, and time pass
when we spend our days interlocked.
But we could care less about a few numbers that mark our days,
this raw, bare truth shines through them.
In this moment I am more than conscious,
I am alive.
A moment of complete and utter fulfillment.
No one else but you.
I don't expect you to speak,
or to even reassure me you're still blinking.
I can tell by your satisfactory sighs
you're more than alive.
Living in this inaudible moment,
where the only language is in our hearts.
