Who listens to it and who do you listen to? I want to discover new artists.

I listen to Daft Punk, Deadmau5, and The Glitch Mob. But I'm starting to get tired of DP and DM5. Once you have heard something a few times, you want to start to expand a little bit.

Also, The White Panda.

Why am I not surprised. An electronic thread and the first post includes dumb mouse and daft punk. This is the part where I say, "inb4 shitty dubstep, trance, and house".

If you're wanting to expand you're taste in terms of electronic, I've got a few threads that can help: One (http://virtualteen.org/forums/showthread.php?t=92288), two, (http://virtualteen.org/forums/showthread.php?t=88297) and three. (http://virtualteen.org/forums/showthread.php?t=85122) I might update the third thread and post some 8bit sense there's not much of that in there.

Shitty dubstep  - I am a dubstep producer from the home of dubstep. If you don't know where it is, type in Croydon, London Borough of Croydon, London, CR0 ???, England. But in all seriousness what don't you like about dubstep. Dubstep is a great genre if you listen from the laid back origins of a 15 year old Skream or Oliver Jones and Benga or Benga Adejumo. Things like midnight request line and the origins of dubstep. Then move on to DMZ or Digital Mystikz (Mala and Coki) -SUB BASS WARNING-. And now you've got producers making dubstep with a gritty feel such as Doctor P or Flux Pavilion or Emalkay. All big names in the scene. It wasn't always like that. Digital Mystikz - Anti War Dub. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aVpjPuzlvus) Thats an original dubstep anthem. Compare that to now, with Flux Pavilion - Bass Cannon (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kKTBKR__kzY) Its a lot more grittier and more likable to the commercial dubstep fan. Thats all what you hear of now. No sub bass anthems anymore. So this is my debate on dubstep's behalf. Whether you like it or not, this is my argument from a home town producer.

And let me guess. FL Studio?

Very repetitive and boring. There's not too much to it

Personally, I think most teenagers who go on FL Studio making shitty music aren't talented. Just my personal feeling.

Then move on to DMZ or Digital Mystikz (Mala and Coki) -SUB BASS WARNING-.

I've heard of Digital Mystikz. Boring and generic as fuck with no concept or anything interesting to it at all. It just doesn't amuse me.

Get this: I just don't like dubstep. I don't like the 'original' version of it and I don't like the 'brostep' bullshit either. None that I've listened to interests me.

This is the type of shit that interests me:

eRJQTubG6zE

Tons of glitch. Very minimal, but massive and organic. Bright orange and army green is what I get listening to this.

Deadmau(FIVE!)...no. You should start with a group like Autechre.
