Oh my god I think I am becoming obsessed with the subject of "the brain." It just interests me. Hopefully the comments on this one will go better.

If you read my other threads on the human brain, you may recall when I say that the brain "blocks out" certain things that it finds unimportant. A recent thread drove me to create one to test the power of the human brain.

Find the mistakes below-

Sally rode her bike to the the park to visit Kelly.

Find the mistakes below-

Kara ate two potatoes and and carrots.

Now read them again. Did you find the mistakes?

Okay, here's another test I want to perform. The human brain has the power to read full sentences when all the letters are jumbled, with just the first and last letter in place. Tell me in the comments if you can read this:

Can you raed tihs? The hmuan bairn has the pewor to iednitfy waht wrods say eevn tohguh tehy are jmubeld.

Could you master either of the tests? Tell me in the comments! :D

The mistakes almost slipped through me and as for the jumbled sentence, the second became unreadable.

Since I've seen this before (like, who hasn't?) I kept wary for the extra 'the', but I completely missed the 'and'. And I could read the jumbled sentence just fine.

The extra 'the' slipped past at first, but as for the extra 'and' and the jumbled words, no problems there.

I love the jumbled words trick...I think it's really neat how are brains can do that......the double the got me the first time I didn't see it...haha but I got the ands and the jumbled words. The brain is really a fascinating topic!

Haven't had a problem in any of them. In the third, it needs to be jumbled in such a way that it wouldn't upset the first and last letters.

I only caught the first mistake after reading other people's comments about it :whoops: . But I found the second mistake no problem. The mixed up writing wasn't a problem either.

The brain is interesting though, in the way it works. It's probably the last part of the human body that still is surrounded in so much mystery.

I found the first and second mistake, but it took me a minute or two to find out. No mastery here.

As for the jumbled sentence, I could read it as if it had perfect grammar.
