View Full Version : This growing nuisance upon my ear.

About a year ago or so, I got this pimple on my ear, believe it or not. It's been there since about the middle of my 7th grade year. It's become a nuisance and my parents have arranged an appointment with the base clinic to examine it and most like, freeze and slice it off. I'm a little nervous because I'm not aware of the anatomy of the pimple on my ear, nor do I know it's true identity. My parents believe it is a skin tag, I think it is between a pimple and a mole.

Any suggestions or ideas as to what it might be?

If it's just annoying not painful and has not gone away i'd say it is a mole

You are right... it was a mole. I got it taken off today. I feel happy, but loopy at the same time. :3

I've got one like this on my left ear, but I've just left it. It's more or less just a lump, and it hasn't caused me problems. Is it worth getting it removed?

So far, this could be classified as a skin tag. It's not worth getting removed at this point, but the doctor might recommend to let it grow to see if it becomes a mole or if it is just a normal mole.

Glad its nothing serious, you did the right thing getting it cheaked :)

I just hope the results don't come back as cancerous. Skin cancer does run in my mom's side of the family.

Its probably fine, don't stress too much over it.
