Normal, shuffle, or set playlist?

When you're listening to your music do you normally just listen to your music in order, do you use shuffle, or would you create individual playlists for whatever mood you are in?

Right now I'm using normal mode as my shuffle seems to select constant favourites that it likes to play, despite me having 1,000+ songs. I'll probably change it back though, it gets annoying when you are able to memorise strings of music, when you select a song.

Shuffle when im bored.
Playlist for when i am on my bike or somethings.
And normal when i want to listen to specific artists :)

I either choose a random song, or click shuffle. Either way, my iPod and iTunes are set to shuffle, so the next song is chosen at random.

I always put mine on shuffle because if you always play a set playlist or song, then your just get bored of it ..

I usually listen to whole albums, but shuffle the songs up, I learn the order of the tracks too fast :P

I listen to albums that are meant to be listened in a specific order, so shuffle kinda fucks up the order. Sometimes I do shuffle though.

I put a bunch of albums to a playlist which corresponds to a specific genre or subgenre, and I play them in shuffle.

I don't have much songs, so there isn't much reason to shuffle. I pick whatever suits my needs.

I have my music usually set to repeat 1 song because I like to listen to specific songs at different times.

I rarely ever make it through a song without changing the first minute.

It varies. I pick the song I'm in the mood for at that moment sometimes, but other times I use shuffle.

When I use shuffle I sometimes end up skipping through the songs until I get to one I'm in the mood for, which sort of defeats the object, but yeah. :P

That is exactly what I do. But iorganise the songs that I do that with by making playlists.
