Job Interview

Ok..so this Tuesday, I have an interview at Mcdonalds. Yes, I know it isn't some fancy job that I need to stress over...but, I really want to have a job. So, any advice on my first interview?


I'm really nervous!!

Aim to turn up 15 - 20 minutes early to allow for traffic / give yourself time to chill beforehand.

Don't expect not to be nervous and don't tell people that you aren't. You WILL be.

Don't turn up to the interview looking really scruffy.

Shake the hands of the people present at your interview after introducing yourself.

Don't sit down until they ask you.

Get to know some basic history of that branch of McDonalds.

Think about what they would be looking for from you to do the job and how could could answer questions about said expectations.

Don't be an arse. Be friendly, smiley, polite.

I just had my interview. I filled in a 2 page question thing. She read over it and she's like "and you came up with these answers yourself? They're really good." So hopefully...that's a good sign.


But she also said "if you don't get it this time come back in 6 months." So....I'm not sure if she was insinuating that I didn't get the job or not..


I'll know if I got it sometime in the next week.
