Armpit hair question

I started getting armpit hair August or September of 2006, Its January 7 now and I got alot of armpit hair, but its all blonde except maybe 2, 3. This weekend I went to my friends house, and stayed the night, we were on the trampoline doing flips, another friend came over, we wetted the trampoline with water and we took of our shirts, both of my friends are black, so all theyre hair comes out already black. I cant seem to prove I really have armpit hair, and since Im white all my hair starts off blonde, and overtime darkens. How long will it take for my armpit hair to darken to black or dark brown? Tell me your story or something or some Average percent of a poll. I don't know I want help.

Well, I don't know. Mine started out black and still is. What is your hair color?(on your head) Mine is light brown.

Brown. kinda dark.

then dont worry, it will darken eventally. everybody is different. i have black hair and my armpit hair was always black. since your hair color is dark then dont worry about it.

It doesnt essentialy darken.. Idk my hair growth has existed for awhile but it goes slow for me but my armpit hair was always brown/dark..

There's no set time to grow. But since you already have to hair it's probably doing it slowly, you just don't notice.

When I first got mine, it was always the same color as it is now. But, this kind of stuff just depends on the person, and yours will prob. just darken over time.

does it really matter? its hair, in your armpits, why would you want it to be black anyways? its not like that would be more attractive lol

well mine started out blond too. It turned darker like 4-6 months later i think. Don't worry too much about it. I really don't want too much armpit hair, just enough to be noticeable

Mine started off black and only got blacker. but i know people who have lightish blondish pit hair.

I don't really remember how long it took to darken or for more to grow, really... Maybe around a year after I started noticing some. Note that African Americans develop sooner than caucasians.

Mine started out as like 10-20 about 1inch white hairs.. Took about 4-5months for them to darken and start getting bushier. Everybody is different.
