What do you guys think of the forth coming album by Lady Gaga we only know two songs from it so far, Born This Way and Judas. Personally I am going straight out and buying the album... on CD :P (shock horror).

Also what do you guys think of her new song judas personally I love it and have listened to it about 20 times in the past day, little obsessed i think :S lol.

Is it just me or is she getting worse? I mean, she sounds even worse than "The Fame" was, and that was a horrible album (and yes, I did listen to it, so I am allowed to say that). I'd say it would be on my least favourite list, but the albums that occupy that list are usually all by Disney stars and fail rappers.

Don't get me wrong, she's talented. She's been proven to actually have a voice, and she's honestly an awesome person (as well as being hot, I have to say). That, I can't say about all (or any other) mainstream pop artists. But her music makes me yawn, or in the case of the songs on "The Fame," cringe.

I really do hate this song, the way she's put a pointless little narration in as if trying to mimic bands like Rush, it's very annoying since the song is generally lacking even compared to her other works, which are mediocre at best.

Rush's concepts/narrations were pretty simple to be honest. They aren't as much as people like to put them out to be. It all spanned from things like Greek mythology (see 'Cygnus X-1 Book II: Hemispheres') and other fantasy tales (see 'The Necromancer' and 'The Fountain of Lamneth'). Pretty simple really. Though songs like '2112' and 'Xanadu' are from Neil Peart's own thinking and short stories.

I'm not saying Gaga is putting a more complex theme into this...narration/concept/whatever you want to call it. I am saying, however, that she's doing nothing different. All the 'LGBT activist' shit, though very well intended, is getting old very quickly. It's reaching a point of singularity almost. She's simply jumping on the bandwagon and will keep on it until that well runs dry (which it probably never will). Though her efforts are good for the LGBT community (or for some at least), people have associated her with that. The first single, I'll admit, is very good. I enjoy it and say what you want about it. But it's nothing different lyrically than what others have probably already written; she's just putting it in different wording.

As per the album art: this is obviously a joke. Look at the photo itself; it was very poorly edited in Photoshop. And even if it was edited any better, I still wouldn't believe it. And anyone who comes into this thread and says "but she's so random and she'll do anything!", don't bother. Madonna did the same exact thing when she was majorly famous. She's not random, she's not witty, she's not original. She is nothing more than a Madonna wannabe.

And this new song 'Judas'...the fuck is this heaping pile of shit? Is this some new "fuck religion" sort of deal? If so, it's in poor taste and I can't believe I wasted my time listening to it. I like Gaga, I admit that; but really? This was awful.

Personally I don't see the similarities between Gaga and Madonna. I just see them as two different artists, I cannot stand it when people compare artists, ok they may have similar styles but that does not mean that she is copying her, it is just a style of music.

Anyway The video for Judas is out tomorrow, :D AHHHHH, but it is causing lots of controversy in America with the catholic church but I don't see how they can be so against it as it was originally them who introduced the idea of Mary Magdalen as a prostitute. Anyway do you guys think it is going to be that bad and "racist" as it has been described?

2. No, the Catholic Church did not introduce the idea of Mary Magdalen being a prostitute. It was common knowledge that she was a prostitute anyway.

i cant wait till Born This Way CD is released :D i will buy the physical copy so i can add it to my growing collection of her CD's. even though she could have done better on the album artwork, its still kick ass :) i love Judas and Born This Way singles. i bought them both the day they each came out.

Before the album came out, I didn't think it'd be anything like it is.
BTW- AMAZING. The message, the lyrics, the artist. All amazing.
Judas- I love the song. Doesn't really have a message to me but the song and the video=amazing.
BTW album- Byfar much better than I could ever expect. She keeps suprising me in so many ways.

My friend is so obsessed with Judas it's getting old.

But the songs are decent. Me and my friend Elisa made a dance for born this way, but we weren't allowed to do it for our assembly because apparently the lyrics express that everyone was born to be gay or born to be a lesbian. That's what the teacher said anyway.

Weird and controversial but creative, typical Gaga album. Some decent songs like Judas (although controversial with Christian theme) and Edge of Glory but Born This Way (with it's gay theme) is cringeworthy. It has even been banned in Malaysia.
