If you don't know her, get to know her first. Dont go rushing headlong with a full head of steam to ask her out if you never talked to her. Also, don't get too attached as a friend, or things may get ugly.

If you already know her relatively well, I reccomend a wingman... Have him look less popular than you, it makes you look good.
Between classes at the lockers is what has worked for me the most often. Lean up against a locker, and be sure to maintain eye contact throughout the process. If your eyes move downward, you will have a bad mark on your face and a bad mark on your reputation.
