Hes probably getting it done because being un-circumsized is not as sanitary and causes more discomfort. It shouldnt cost too much, canada usually doesnt overprice surgery.

Um...I'm pretty comfortable thank you very much. It is also perfectly sanitary unless you don't wash up in the shower for a month :p We evolved foreskins to protect the glans. Circumcised=dry less sensitive glans. Uncircumcised=moist protected sensitive glans. You don't notice this if you've been circumcised your whole life because yours will have desensitized and calloused, but walking around with you foreskin back and your glans rubbing against your pants is pretty uncomfortable.

Yeah, I've been debating with myself for the last... 10 years... and I'm 17. So I'm just going to get it done, I have nothing against the uncircumsized penis don't get me wrong. All that matters is that your happy with yourself, right? So yea, sanitary reasons, some comfort reasons, and personal reasons.

So nobody has any estimate?

Yeah, it isn't... But just for the record, I know some girls irl that won't have sex with circumsized guys. They think it's gross that there isn't any skin around the glans... I only have one friend who is circumsized, so I wager that Canada must be more uncircumsized.. This could also be the reason that these said girls don't like circumsized penis'.. They aren't used to them.

Apparently, circumsized penis' are less sensitive as they're always getting friction with clothing and are overall always bare to the world. Apparently it takes longer to get off a circumsized guy, so I don't know.. Thay may be a good thing... But, I don't know, some uncircumsized guys can hold it just as long.

Really, it doesn't matter. I wash every day, so I haven't noticed any unsanitary problems.

I believe it is all based on area. My area is heavy in uncircumsized guys, so perhaps the girls around here have become accustom to a little bit of skin on the penis.

Thats cause theres no medical reason for it
so its been clasified as cosmetic which like brest enlargments or tummy tucks isnt covered

i honestly dont know how much it would cost i had it done as a baby

Something wierd just happend... Like 2 days ago I started wearing my foreskin back, I like it way better that way... so yeah Anyways... So I'm all comfortable and what not... Then I go to the bathroom... :eek: My foreskin was inflammed! Like not BIG BIG, but It was noticeable... Why did that happen?! So strange...

Well, I found what it is... Phewf... Thrush... I'm going to the doctor on Wednesday and I'm getting the necessary medication, and making the appointment with the hospital for my circumcision.

If your foreskin and penis head is red and inflamed, then there's a chance you may have thrush. The condition is caused by a harmless yeast-like fungus which occurs naturally in the vagina and is controlled by the presence of certain bacteria. This bacterial balance can be easily upset, however, by anything from antibiotics to stress or tight-fitting clothes. As a result the fungus multiplies, becomes infectious, and can be passed on through sex.

Remedy: Thrush can be easily treated with over-the-counter creams like Canestan. Applying natural yoghurt can also relieve the pain. Avoid sex until the infection has cleared.

it's not that painful, its only tender for a week or two, then it takes a few more weeks to get used to.

I was thinking about getting a mole removed sometime in january. Then I discovered that it costs over $400 (yes, I live in Canada). The stay at the hospital costed more that the actual surgery. In the end, I never got it done.

Me, I'm uncut and fine with it. I don't think you should follow through with this. But its 100% your decision.
