Ik this doesn't have to do with puberty, but i need peoples opinions. I'm a guy who loves to look good and wears scarfs and cardigans vest etc. Also, I am a gay right activist and i have no guy freinds i only hang out w girls. Because of this people at my school say that i am either gay or bi, but im straight. When they use gay to insult me i dnt care because it is just inmature. What do u think about these stereotypes.

In the world we live in, we still cant manage to accept others after all we have been through. Even if they are different. I think that we wont be able to get along 100%.....and its gonna end like that.

I think it's dumb, but it is high school and a lot of people are ignorant and hostile towards anything that seems different than the norm.

I don't believe in stereotypes. Stereotypes are just what typically happens, most of the time. But that leaves a lot of exceptions. There are a lot of gay guys who don't act gay. As well as a lot of lesbians who don't just wear pants and have their hair cropped short. I think it is unwise to make assumptions of others just because they resemble a stereotype.
Don't listen to them. Ignore them. They're idiots, not worth your ears or your worries.

Metrosexual-
A new name for something quite old. Men with taste & style who know about fashion, art, and culture have always existed. In past centuries, these kinds of men were in the uppercrust of society (more leisure time). Technology has enabled men with more leisure time, so less wealthy males can now fuss over their looks and aesthetics almost as much as women. An American Metrosexual is like your average European male. In France or Italy, men can be manly and work on cars and know about art and fashion at the same time. They are cool with that and don't need some special name for the less "masculine" side. In the U.S. we think men all have to be eithrt dumb gorillas or homosexuals. There is some grey area! There is an emphasis on not being pretentious in america that itself becomes a kind of pretentiousness. Men who dabble in vanity or in lofty romantic concerns seem less like men when in fact, they are probably better lovers to women than their traditional counterpart.
I was just going to use Wiki[edia but I did not like the answers I got so I went with UrbanDictionary instead.

Thats what kids do, they just havent matured yet. They still believe in stereotypes and make of them. You wont go through HS without hearing a kid say something about 'being gay'. Its stupid immature things.

Don't listen to them, don't talk to them. You don't want to start a fight, and you don't want to waste your time with them. You know who you are, and that's all that's important. :D
