I love someone but I'm not sure of their sexuality

They've said they're bi, but then said they were joking...they act very homo erotic, but I'm not sure...I love them so much and it's just adding more confusion, if I knew they were straight I could attempt to just get over them...

The only way that you can find out someones sexuality is if you ask them. There is no such thing as a gaydar. My advice is to just ask them. If need be, just bring it up in general conversation

I won't be able to ask...my voice will cramp up, I know it will.
Their friend kissed them when (her friend) was quite drunk, and she said she pulled away but that's barely an indicator :(
