I'm so fucking fat. It's disgusting. I went clothes shopping with my friendtoday. Her basket-all size 12's, mine=size 18s!
I got home, and was trying on my clothes and showing my mum, and I put on this skirt, and she says to me- 'oh Nicole, you can't wear that, you look far too fat!'
I FUCKING KNOW OK! It's disgusting. But y'know what mum. I won't be. Because i'm not gonna eat. I already told you I ate while out to get out of dinner, and skipped breakfast and lunch. And I'm gonna do it tomorrow. And the next day. And if you make me eat. I will throw up, So there. Go fuck yourself. Whore.

Hey, I know your upset, but starving is not the way to go, unless you want to gain weight. Because it will catch up with you when you start eating again, and you'll gain twice the amount. My suggestion? Start exercising, eat lots of fruits and veggies. Cut out large meat portions, fast foods completely, and limit your sweet intake.

I've done all that. It never works. This is my last chance, I don't care anymore. I will be skinny, no matter what it takes.

Aww you know that's not the way to go about loosing weight. Do it the healthy way or you will destroy your body. Eat smaller portions, exercise more, drink lots.
It's okay to feel a bit insecure shopping with others.. It's just an opportunity to compare yourself. You are your own person and you shouldn't listen to what others say. If you want to wear a skirt, do it! If it makes you feel better about yourself it's worth it :)

But it won't work that way. :( Why not try an exercisie daily. Give it another go? Talk to your doctor about wanting to lose weight.

I'm gonna have my slimfast milkshakes. That's it. I'm not gonna have my third meal anymore. I don't care.

But you realise once you have lost the weight and you start eating three meals a day your body won't be able to cope, and you will put the weight back on really quickly?. It's not worth it. Eat healthy, a diet isnt a quick fix it's a lifestyle choice. Choose a diet you can and will stick too.

But I already am, it just doesn't work, so instead of having 2 slimfast shakes and 1 meal a day, I just have the 2 shakes. Simple.

Starving yourself will just put your body straight in starvation mode. Starvation mode = no weight loss, extreme tiredness and general feeling like shit. Starving is not worth it. You just end up in a horrible cycle that is so hard to break out of, and you totally fuck up your body. My immune system is a mess... still... even after 2 months (touch wood) without relapsing. You don't want this.

Hi i am also a new member in the forum and just joined recently to share some knowledge from you people. I have read the discussion and i think this is not the way to keep yourself starve. Eat must either you just eat in few quantity. But don't give gap to your meal. And do some exercise daily and also some walk and don't dishearten and be strong.

Yes like many other said a good diet is the first step , exercise and other things will come later. From starving yourself you won't have enough energy for exercise let alone concentration. Try eating oatmeal in the morning it sticks to your stomach so your body is full for a while. Running is excellent for weight loss it burns fat and gives you abs ! Swimming too :) Well good luck , hope this helped :D

I understand youre upset and your Mum should not have said that! I'm sure youre not fat, I'm sure you're a beautiful curvy girl! And also clothes size don't mean much when you take into considering how a person carrys themself and bone structure etc.

Before you try and lose weight consider talking to a doctor or counsellor, you have obviously got an unhealthy take on body image and yourself, and if you try and go on a diet in this state of mind I'm scared for your health ):

message me if you ever need to talk

Listen to me- if you start to starve yourself, you can develop an addiction- eating disorder, and not be able to stop, even when you reach the weight you had planned.

First of all, your bones and muscles can be permanently weakened and make it easier to break, and you can develop heart troubles and organ problems. When you deprive yourself of the nutrients you need, your body starts eating itself!

Secondly, if you lose weight by starving yourself and do happen to make it out without an addiction, then when you start to eat again, the pounds will seem to rise almost overnight, and you end up gaining it all back faster than ever.

I know it seems like it takes forever to gain weight while you are doing it the healthy way, but if you give it time, excersize, and stay dedicated to it, you will find that you succeed!

PM me if you need tips or just need to talk. :)

Loosing weight is maths, as I always say.

The goal is to eat -500 calories a day, or -1000, depending on how much you want to lose (-500 will get you a pound a week, -1000 will get you two pounds a week. Never aim for more than that). You burn calories with just the typical cost of upkeep of your body (you can calculate that amount online) so the point is to eat as much as you burn, but either burn an extra __ calories with exercise, or just eat that much less. If you stick to that, it WILL work. Of course, getting fiber, protein, and your vitamins while minimizing sugar and sodium will help a lot.

Branching off of my first statement, weight is like a formula (I wouldn't be able to come up with it though) and the goal is for your result to be not too big, but not too little. If you eat too little, you don't lose weight, and you will gain weight once you start eating again. If you eat too much, you don't lose weight either, and you will gain weight. The goal is to eat just a bit less than you burn each day, and the weight will come off. It's quite simple, actually, but for some people it is made more difficult with complications such as medical conditions, and namely eating disorders.

Anyway, hun, starving yourself is unproductive. You might lose weight now, but I'm very certain you'll just gain it all back when you finally eat something, because your body will have been in starvation mode, and will hold on to anything you give it because it doesn't know when its next meal will be. So starving = no weight loss in the long run.

You want to make positive lifestyle changes that you can live with FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE. You can't live on just smoothies hun. Maybe for a couple months, but you'll start to have a lot of complications. Medical, emotional/mental, everything. It's definitely not worth it hun. You want natural, gradual, healthy weight-loss. That is your best bet to getting it off, and keeping it off.

Starving yourself will only make you feel more miserable, which will then drive you farther and farther into it until you won't be able to stop. You need to talk to your mom, she can't make comments like that. Tell her that it hurts your feelings, there's a big chance she doesn't even know it. My grandma used to make comments like that. I'm a size 10 and I went shopping with her. She held out a size 16 and asked me if I thought it wouldn't be too tight since I seemed to have grown a little lately. When I confronted her about it later she didn't even realize that I would perceive it like that. Talk to her, she loves you after all.

I'll randomly get an extreme pain in my heart after my eating disorder. It really isn't worth it.
And as people have said..
Not eating = Starvation mode = No weight loss

If you really feel that you need to, then please loose that weight in a healthy way!

I'm here if you need someone to talk to..

If anyone ever called me fat or told me I must lose weight, I would definitely go and shovel a whole bunch of junk food down my throat right in front of them as if to say "go fuck yourself". It annoys them even more, and it shows that what they've said doesn't bother you (even if it does get to you, you can always pretend that you don't care). If someone insulted me about my weight, there's no way in hell I would give them the satisfaction of them knowing their comments have got to me by going on a "diet" or starving myself in front of them.

But yeah, more on topic, starving doesn't work for anyone and it creates many physical and emotional health problems to boot. Despite the messages society delivers to us, starving also really wrecks your appearance; horrible teeth, bad skin, brittle hair and all sorts - not pretty. Sure you'll lose weight at first, but once you eat again you'll gain it back (and then some), since your metabolism would have dropped to a significantly lower speed. And for the record, people who starve end up binging later anyways, which in a lot of cases can result in more weight gain.

I won't even bloody bother lecturing on why you shouldn't throw up since I'd be here for hours on end telling you the shitty pyschological and physiological effects it has on you, and how it ruins the rest of your life and blah, blah, blah.

Listen I don't know if what I am going to say will help, or if your even reading theses comments anymore but DON'T DO IT simple as that. it will work for a little bit but then u will have a weak moment raid the fridge and put it all back on and possibly even more. a diet has to be somehting you can stick with
