Ive been stressing over this for a long time now. Can someone please tell me what Capital HIM is?

"A different lover is not a sin, believe Capital H-I-M"

I read on google its either "Homosexual-in-me" or "His-infernal-majesty" (the devil) What do you think?

I agree, it does seem like a reference to the band HIM. A different lover I believe refers to Satanism as well. Or maybe I'm just suffering from a lack of oxygen to the brain after track practice.

Forgive me.

Well, I don't think it's a reference to H.I.M. I highly doubt Gaga's into them, as lovely as Ville's voice is.

Though His Infernal Majesty, sure. In context, it feels like it's more of the first one. Though I feel she's not saying HIM, but Him, however. So I think she means God. Makes sense when you consider the song.

i thought HIM was him as in god.
It doesn't matter if you love him (a man) or capital Him (god)

It's God.

Whether you're into him (guys) or capital HIM (God)

It more than likely stands for "His Infernal Majesty". The band HIM stands for the same thing (out of all people, I should know this lol) but Lady Gaga has probably never heard of them.

God teaches that adultery is wrong, whereas the devil goes against God's teachings as they're enemies. So, Lady Gaga tells us to believe the devil as he teaches us that it's right to have another lover. I just totally made all of that up HA.

EDIT: Oh and Capital can be a metaphor for the protagonist figure, in which Lady Gaga thinks Satan comes before God. Oh look I made this up too - that's how easy it is to make up bullshit theories.

When she says 'capital h-i-m,' I think she means to capitalize the first letter of the word 'him' making it 'Him' and therefore making it a reference to God. At least that's what I've always thought of it as.

It is referring to God. Why would she be singing about the devil when other lyrics of the song are "God makes no mistakes"!? and also she is actually a christian so another reason why she would not be singing about the devil.
