grow up faster (i'm barely 13)

ok so who here had to grow up faster
i'm stressed out con it;s 12 at night and dad is working late so i'm watching my sister my step mum is sick in bed and i am making sure dad gets home safe (he's an old man catching a late night bus through a dangerous part of the city) there fore im up at this hour. so i looked at some of dads bank statments and found out his interst rates just rose and he cant afford that and its two years till i can get a job so i'm dead weaght till then

Not because of a similar situation that you're in, but yeah, I feel the same way. As a kid, I had to mature and toughen up quickly because I had to take care of myself. The only con about this is your childhood feels like it was even shorter than it should have been, and now that I finally have that wiggle room and that freedom, all I want to do is be a kid again.

It'll be stressful for a while. But what you're doing is very mature and courteous. I'm sure they appreciate it, whether they've told you or not. Remember to have fun as well though :) Just because you're put in that position, doesn't mean you don't have the right to be a kid sometimes.

I want to be younger again, I don't want to get older.
When I was your age, yes I did wish to older.
However, I feel like time is passing by quickly and so too is my age.

i know how this feels, I had to grow up too young as well.
Do remember that you are still a kid, and make sure you take care of yourself as well.

I grew up fast to take care of myself. To prepare myself for every situation, because that's what I thought I had to do. I wish I had a longer childhood. I spent my childhood studying and reading to escape, because I had no one to talk to.

It's hard at first, but it will get better, I promise. :)
