View Full Version : The Message, Ignored

This is our temporary home
Then we take to the skies
Upon the mirror of the atmosphere
We watch below as our families move on
Tears dried but canyons in their cheeks as edvidence

We pour the rain to the polluted earth
Washing away the sins and the dirt
And watering fields that have long been forgotten

We send our oxygen and spin it in a funnel
To destroy the tall structures that cover the once fertile land
Yet they do not get our message
And build over that which we destroyed

We shake the ground and split the plates
But they build again
And a resistand gate
They still don't get our message

We wither their crops
With the acidity of old sins
And venom from the devil's fangs
They make new feilds
And replant their goods
Destroying once more his creation

The more they resist the message we give
Wider gets the covering that seperates us
God's glowing star is at it's ready
To dissolve the recievers
Of the message that was ignored

They shut their doors and windows
Their cities go up in flame
Slabs of fiery earth split
And the home of the ignorance is lost
A billion souls
Lost and found
A home
In the land of the sky

A billion souls
Help to create
A new land to which forgiveness will survive

That was my newest poem! I hope you enjoyed it, I would "enjoy" some feedback!Z Thanks for reading, Caitlin
