Who's That in The Mirror?

I was looking at my reflection when I was brushing my hair, and all of a sudden,I saw my mother in my face. It actually sort of creeped me out (no offense to my mom) It's so strange though. For the majority of my life, my face was more similar to my dad's, then my mom's. But as I get older, I'm starting look like her.

I don't really know what my question is exactly, but I'm just so confused.

i used to look a lot like my dad when i was like a toddler. then i looked like my mom,then my gramma. now i dunno who i look like lol

I wish I'd know who I look like. I was adopted, and never met my parents. I think it would look amazingly cool to look like my mamma. <3

Isn't it kind of creepy? I think I really noticed my resemblance to my mum when I was 14 or something. It's kind of weird, I seem to look more like her as I get older.

But, for me at least, it became cool. I love and respect my mum, a little more than your average person though, so there's that aspect of it, and I think about, you know, her and her family being carried through me, to continue living beyond a single human's expiration date. There's some sort of connection between your looks and personality and the people you live with, though not as much the looks as the personality. I've started to notice habits I have, certain mannerisms, certain facial expressions, are all my mum's.

I'm sure people take it differently. You could be someone to accept it and maybe even like it, someone who is freaked out a bit, or be in denial (I was there at first. I thought I lost my identity when I first realized it. I tried hard to style my hair different and act less like her just so people would stop saying it).

I look like both my parents. If you havent seen a picture of my dad, then im like my mums sister. If you see a picture of my dad, you know im his daughter. But I hate admitting that.

As people grow older they may look more like one parent than another, sometimes even grandparents.
