Okay so prom is coming up and I'm going to ask my girlfriend like im going to marry her i got a ring box with like an 8 dollar ring from walmart =P instead of saying will you marry me im going to say will you go to prom with me and im gonna be like ive been thinking about this for a while and i think were ready for this and ive wanted to ask you this for a long time and then pop the question. Im also gonna have like a note around the ring saying will you go to prom with me. Its kinda silly but cute right? Let me know what you think. We've been dating for 1 year and 3 months so were in a serious relationship but shes my gf and its not like shes going to say no and if i really wanted to i could just ask her normally but i want it to be kinda cute/silly we are also wanting to get married in a couple years. ya im kinda just rambling now. let me know what you think.

Im 99.999% sure she will say yes, lol. And if she says no, I would be pissed. Umm I think it is very cute AND original. I have never heard of this before. How did you come up with the idea?

Umm you guys should not do this. She didnt like it at all and saw it more as a prank then me asking her to prom. We are currently fighting well not fighting but she is angry at me and ya so ya i suggest you do not do this. She is upset because it is not really romantic compared to other ways people have been asking her peers and i agree it really was stupid so again DO NOT DO THIS. I feel really dumb and ya.
When she is angry she takes every little thing I do and throws that at me as well and no matter what i say or do helps. Because Im stupid.
