So yeah, i recently i have been trolling some tech forums.
On one of the tech forums i found a thread called "Top 10 favorite computer programs".
I found that thread amazing, so i thought that i would start my own here on this forums, but a bit different. So here it goes;
Which programs do you use on a daily basis, and why? (I dont feel games count >.<)
- Microsoft word (I use it at school all time and for homework)
- Mathcad (Also used for school.)
- Firefox 4 (For my daily internet browsing)
- Skype & MSN (For chatting (Both programs are kinda in the same boat))
- Teamspeak (For talking to my clan mates)
- Notepad++ (For my coding lessons.. The coding i am trying to teach myself)
- Filezilla (To FTP my code & Files
- Steam (For chatting and for games)
- Windows Mail (Because i like it better than www.hotmail.com)

Hey those are all pretty legit to me! Except Rhythmbox, have you checked out Banshee? IMO it's a lot better than Rhythmbox. You could, also, get Synaptic for a gui to apt-get.

Yes, and OpenSuSE didn't like it, so I'm reluctant to use in Ubuntu
You could, also, get Synaptic for a gui to apt-get.That's what I have YaST and aptitude for. Or the "Ubuntu software centre".
