Not all the time, but sometimes they're right. Sometimes I wonder if they were watching the same movie.

rotten tomatoes is a bunch of critics, so I agree with some of them sometimes. Idk, I like to read their reviews though, especially the reviews of Roger Ebert, Michael Phillips, and AO Scott.

Rotten tomatoes is a review website. You do not have to necessarily agree with them. It's really up to you to think if the films were bad or good in certain areas of the film.

sometimes yes, but sometimes no, its somebodys opinion on a film, but ask around one of your classes you'll never get everybody to agree in there either

try metacritic they get all the scores from all the newspapers "New York Times" "L.A times" and average them all together.
Rotten Tomatoes gave the Lovely Bones like 30 or 40 and I didn't think it was that bad.
So sometimes yes and sometime nope :D

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure Rotten Tomatoes doesn't say anything about movies. They just compile all of the reviews for them that other people have done and slap a percentage on it based on how many critics gave it a positive review.

That's the one I go to. Sometimes I agree, sometimes I don't, sometimes I get disappointed if I haven't watched the movie yet, for example, Alice In Wonderland, I wanted to see the review to see what I was in for and it really disappointed me.

I agree with the top critic scores so much more than the regular ones. It filters out all the crappy critics opinions.

I am my best critic... I rarely look a the "critic's choice" and if it looks like it will be good to me i will risk it and see...then judge

Much like anything that has critics involved, it's hard to provide a definitive answer to this. What a critic provides in their critique is an opinion, and unless you find a critic with similar tastes as you, it's up to you to weigh the critiques done by numerous critics to get a basic understanding.
Typically speaking, I haven't been overly disappointed by the ratings posted by Rottentomatoes, but that's because in terms of movies I'm always very critical of them. It comes from my being in theater, so I'm constantly analyzing movies for their acting, and also the artistic and cinematic design.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to say I'm a better critic, just that I've found myself to be more critical of movies than those around me. I've found this to be the case with RT, so a lot of the time I don't have too many discrepencies.
