Basically I read somewhere that you're meant to check your balls for lumps and bumps and stuff about 1 a month.
I have already been to the doctor (i think over a year ago) because I felt a lump and I wanted to get it checked out. When I went he just told me it was a cyst on one of the tubes inside and It was harmless.
I just checked again and I think it's for bigger, and it now really hurts when pressure is applied on it. You can also see it through the skin.
(I don't know whether is helps but there is one on the other side, but it's not as big.)

If anyone knows what it is or has any advice I would really appreciate it because i am really worried ):

If your worried you need to go see a doctor. None of us are doctors, so we cant tell you if theres anything wrong. But that does sound painful

I know what it is!!!! It happens to me as I just begin to have an erection, I'm like have flavor have not and I see it. It's a part of your body, it's just on some people they stick out and on others they stay hidden... Like belly buttons:)

I'm 14 and I have one too. If it really worries you go to the dr. what it is is the tube that sperm goes through from the balls to the penis has a build up of fluid. Check it out if if worries you.

I don't think u need to get it checked, it's just part of your body, of course it hurts when u apply pressure it's like allying pressure to the caller bone, duh it's gonna hurt but if u need to go to the doc

It is a cyst and can get quite big and sometimes painful if they become very troublesome you can get the removed I think with an operation but Ur doctor has to see if it's bad enough for an operation first
