Ok so i have been straitening my hair for the past few months, i think last october, but it was cold out so i didnt have a problem with it. But today it was like 79 outside and my hair went curly in like an hour. And i have long hair wen its strait, but wen its curly its just one big ole clump of gross pubic hair. ( or so my friend ses) but i was wondering if any one had some tips for me. Cuz i cant go to school with beast hair and then leave with a penis on my head. Oh and dose any one know any good comebacks for jerks that make fun of your strait hair? Thnx!

First off ignore the jerks, they're just jel. Second go to the beauty store and ask the employee or take to a cosmatologist.

When your hair is wet out of the shower, towel dry it a little and you can then put in some humidity resistant mouse which helps keep your hair straighter. Then use a hiar dryer and straighten like normal, should work, does for me.

Comebacks don't work, especially for hair.
How long do you straighten it for? What kind of straightner do you use?
I don't think your hair should go back to the state it was in before unless you wet it or sweat it out.

Sounds like your problem is caused by high humidity you get hair sprays for stuff like that :)

Well it depends. On a school day i dry my hair from dripong wet to dry, from proly like 6-6.20 ish. Then i straiten from proly, 6.20 till 6.40. And i never had a problem. Sexy guy with sexy hair till the other day. But on the weekends i let it air dry all day if im not going no ware then steairwn it. And i did sweat the other day tho.....

Um..I dont know much about hair. I just put water on the parts that are sticking up and there is my hairdo. What I do know is that if you just ignore those people who make fun of you, then most likely they will just forget about it.

You're doing everything right, and it's good that you let your hair dry first. Straightening wet hair leaves crappy split ends.
And yeahhh. Sweat can kinda cause it to go back to it's original state, so maybe try to stay away from the heat? But eh... Who can help getting sweaty? :(
Maybe you can try a hair product that keeps the hair straight throughout the day? I'm sorry I'm not much help. :/ Good luck with your situation though, I'm sure you'll figure something out. ;)

I've never really had this problem when I straighten my hair, I can't tell whether its wavy or straight because it seems like both and it has a mind of it's own, don't mind the jerks, and look for special hair products in the store for your hair type :D I'm sure you'll find something

I have naturally curly hair, so I use a smoothing shampoo and conditioner (called Sexy Hair.) I apply a straightening balm by Lakme called K. style, itīs great for curly hair as it smooths it out and has a high humidity and UV resistance factor which means your hair wonīt go curly and big...i proceed to drying. Then I spray the hair with a thermal protecting spray by GHD (very important if you use a iron as it protects the hair from heat damage) and proceed to flat-ironing it. I use a hair wax to create texture and voila...

I straighten my hair as well, I don't really get picked on. I did back in 8th grade but a lot of guys at my school have straight, long hair so nobody picks on me anymore. As for the jerks who are being mean to you, just ignore them. They have no right to be mean to you at all.
