Well i'm new to the forum, i'm not really a cooking person, my fanciest meal is eggs with onions, but i was making some sausages yesterday, I got bored and went upside to my bedroom, later the same day, i saw a white cloud of smoke entering my room and i was like OMG the sausages!

I walked down the stairs and the whole floor was white due the smoke i just go into the kitchen turn the stove off and felt relieved because there was fire, the shock has passed but the smell is still there haha.

So anything similar has happend to you?

BTW, I'm not american so sorry if i have any mistake :P

hehe, try bacon next time. Much less smoke.

My worst cooking error was when I was rushing a cake for a church benefit thing. I started to ice it before it had cooled and I left it under the hot lights in the kitchen. It literally melted into a pile of moist cake-icing. It was gross...

Tried to make a pizza. I put it in the oven and I forgot about it. 4 hours later the kitchen was full of smoke and the pizza looked like melted shit. Same thing happened with spaghetti. I fail at cooking.

Pre-heated the oven, but of course there was some stuff in there that wasn't supposed to be. :/ The whole house smoked up and it smelled terrible. D:

Then there was a very idiotic mistake when I was baking again. I took out a pan with potholders and it was fine, but still very hot. I left the kitchen and came back, not remembering that the pan was hot (shows how short memoried I am). Being the idiot I am, I picked up the pan bare handed and got a serious burn. :( Luckily the pain didn't last long though. :/
