Well i met this girl over MSN through a friend. He told me her email and we got to talking. I now have her phone number and have been talking for quite a while. I like her, and she likes me. Should i ask the big bf/gf question?

do u know this girl in person, like talk to her in person cuz if its just through phones and msn then absolutely not cuz dating someone u dont know in person never works........ but if u know her in person talk to her often n she flirts with u n stuff then i dont see why u couldnt ask

That is really odd as I got a girls msn of a friend and then got her mobile no. and started texting her and now we are going out, so believe it or not but it can happen. Just meet her a few times with your friend and see how it goes. Hope I helped:)

Being bf/gf over the internet isn't an easy thing. If you think regular relationships are hard try one online. I would think twice about it before asking.
