Just to start off, this is my BEST FRIEND. Ok, and you're gonna need some background info. [Names have been changed]
My friend Jack is dating this girl Christina over the internet, but it's serious. They love eachother and are going to meet this summer or the next. I'm actually credited with getting them together and I did it by accident too. Back on topic. All he thinks about is her, he texts her at school. He also talks about her to me and I help him with his problems with her or anything else really. So, a few days ago, he sent me this.

And, I know he'd do it. One time me and him played a prank or her, so she got us back. She told us she was pregnant from her x-boyfriend, and Jack fucking BROKE DOWN. He was crying and stuff. He's also sent me this.

Be there for him. Reassure him that you're there to help him, that you'll always be there. it seems like you mean a lot to him and unfortunatly that can put quite a bit of pressure on you. I know what it's like to have an internet relationship keeping you alive, but it seems as though he does have other things to live for. His family, you. Just makes sure he knows how much you'd miss him if he was to do anything. I guess you just have to take these things as it comes, and if their relationship does end, make sure you're there for him. It means a lot just knowing you have someone that you can talk to about anything.
Also maybe you could persuade him to get help? Maybe councelling would be beneficial to him.

It sounds more like your friend is begging for attention rather than actually thinking about it. He also said everyone thinks he's a douche and he's complaining about that but he never said anything about actually trying to change that. He also said "I hate my fucking life." However, once again, he is doing NOTHING to change it. No one said to him "You have to live your life like this!" If he truly hates life then tell him he CAN change it but it's something he has to actually work for. I think you should also tell him that the world doesn't change for him cause he's too lazy to do something about his problems.

Honestly I disagree. If he's going around telling everything about this then yeah maybe, but it seems that he's only telling the one person. It's a lot harder to change your life than you may think, maybe you've just been lucky and never had to change it.

I think that you should tell him that suicide isn't really the way out of anything. Make sure he knows how upset everyone would be if he did something. Be there for him. That's the most important thing for him. When I was suicidal, all I really wanted was someone to talk to me and make sure I was okay. So I think that just being there when he needs you is the most important thing.
Hope this helps. :)
