Throughout this year in school i have made some progress with making friends but i still feel ignored. I feel like i will always be the second friend the back up one. Sometimes I feel quite disturbingly hanging myself , and that still no one will notice. I can't talk to my mom or i know she will send me to a ward. I have already taken the no suicide pledge but these thoughts keep coming. I guess its just good to vent, but i still feel a bit depressed :whoops:

If you feel like the back-up friend then you should start making new friends because it will really just bring you down to keep thinking that you're just a back-up friend. Thoughts on suicide won't help you either because people will just think you're weird and they'll try to stay away from you. Just think positive and try to avoid anything that will make you feel depressed.

I've had similar struggles in school. The most important thing is to BE YOURSELF! I tried to make myself fit in and be something I wasn't, and I wasn't happy. One day I realized, I don't even really like these guys. They were just "popular" or whatever that means. I started being myself and showing my own sense of humor and everything sort of fell into place. I found friends that I got along with and shared common interest. Now things are good, but it takes time, and some self discovery.
Just remember that you will never get results instantly. Just keep your head up and good things will come.

Please make new friends, it's not good to feel that way at all. I hope the best for you. Do you have another trusted adult you can speak to, without being sent off to a ward? I do feel that is necessary in some situations, but I feel like it's better to talk it out than to go off straight away.
I hope all is well.

I'm in a similar situation, but with my friends I feel like I'm heard just ignored but I found out that there are some friends who do actually listen when you're in need.*
Sometimes I do picture myself committing suicide..hanging, cutting my throat quick and easy ways, but suicide isn't really the answer so all I did was to focus to get those thought's out my head. I can't ... well more won't speak to my mum, we're not exactly hitting the sweetest of notes all the time and if I told her anything I don't know it might kind of send her overboard and i'm not sure what she'll do :/
