Bisexuality (Both Ways)

Bisexuality is a sort of combination of heterosexuality and homosexuality - being attracted to both males and females. Bisexual people are also known as being bi and going both ways (sexually).

True bisexuality in teenagers is actually rare. Most of the time, a bisexual teen will lean toward one sex more than the other. For example, a girl who is bisexual may like boys and girls but might usually prefer guys. In this case, the girl is still bisexual (not sexually curious, nor straight, nor lesbian).

Bisexuality is often misunderstood as being curious (and vice versa), however it is a sexual orientation toward both sexes. Sexual curiosity is not an orientation; it's having curiosity of the opposite orientation that a person currently has.
